Myra Knight, long time and active member of Basin Gardeners Association, shared her knowledge and talents in Floral Design by conducting a workshop on May 23rd for members and guests.
She skillfully guided us through the steps involved in creating a "Parallel Design".
Parallel Design, generally defined as a "design in which three or more groupings are placed in parallel manner with open spaces between the groupings. Parallel direction may be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. Design is in one container or in containers combined so as to appear as one unit."
Following are the results of an evening of learning and enjoyment.
Well done everyone!
